We all grieve for the loss of the eight lives in the tragic north woods plane crash Saturday: Paul Wellstone, who stood by his principles with selfless integrity and a conviction for doing the right thing; Daughter, Marcia Wellstone Markuson, a teacher in our White Bear community who made a profound difference in the lives of each of her students; Wife, Sheila Wellstone, a strong advocate for women victims of violence and assault, and for campaign staffers Mary McEvoy, Tom Lapic, and Will McLaughlin and pilots, Richard Conry and Michael Guess. We are thankful for the difference they each made.
