Letter to the Editor Everything we read in economic news points to a shortfall in revenues for the next state budget. That means the citizens of this state will be selecting a legislature that will make decisions of great impact. The people we elect will need special qualities to make these decisions. We need people with the ability to listen to all views, the foresight to see the long term effects of decisions, the wisdom to find new solutions for our problems and the leadership to bring people together to work for the common good. Brett Smith is one of those people. No one will outwork Brett Smith in searching for just solutions to the problems we face. Brett has the creativity and focus we need in our next representative.
